To implement and follow the teachings of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated his 126th Birth Anniversary. Paying rich tribute to Principal Architect of Indian Constitution a special morning assembly with speech on his contribution for the good of India and Indians was organized. As cultivation of mind is the ultimate aim of human existence, various competitions were organized to mark the day. A beautiful amalgamation of artistic and intellectual talent was witnessed in Quotation Writing and Sketch Making Competition to mark the day. Teachers in their respective classes introduced Baba Sahib to the students not only as a ‘Masiha’ of dalitsbut as a champion of equality, social justice and humanity. Various fesists of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s personality as economist, anthropologist and socialist were shown through a documentary.
